It’s a Bird! It’s a Plane! Nah, It’s a Comet!
Players are having trouble understanding the meaning behind the appearance of a comet in the ultra-popular Fortnite: Battle Royale. That’s right, the skybox now houses a comet that moves separately from the storm. And it’s getting bigger.
Kotaku says, after reaching out to Epic Games, they only got an image of Giorgio A. Tsoukalos. If you don’t know who he is, here’s a photo of him:
Now if you still don’t know who he is after that picture, you’re either living under a rock or aren’t too well-versed on the meme culture. He’s the man who appeared on Ancient Aliens. Now what does this mean? It could either be the company poking fun at the Aliens concept or it could be a teaser for something interesting on the way.
One could also speculate that it could be an April Fool’s gag, but players are still noticing the comet after the day. Either way, it’s about Fortnite so it’s obviously gotten a lot of hype.
Idk about anyone else but the comet thing in Fortnite and the fate of Tilted Towers is the most exciting thing in my life right now

People were also linking the appearance of the comet to the random controller vibrations for console gamers. However, that part was just a glitch as Epic clarified the same.
“There’s currently a bug that causing controllers to randomly vibrate,” read a tweet. “We’re working towards a fix on that but in the meantime, you can turn off vibrations in the options.”

That being said, what does your gut tell you? Is it just a bit of teasing or is it really an indication to some major update? Or maybe you’re just too busy playing PUBG to care? Either way, leave your thoughts in the comments below!
