SKSE 64 For Skyrim Special Edition Is Out But In Alpha

Good News For Modders And Skyrim Players Alike

SKSE (Skyrim Script Extender) is a tool that expands the capabilities of the vanilla version of Skyrim so modders have more flexibility and functionality when creating their own. It was available for all versions of Skyrim except for the Special Edition, until now.

That’s right, despite all of the rumors and talks going around that there may not even be one for the special edition, the alpha version is out, which makes it obvious that it needs a lot of work before we can get a stable release of it some day. However, with the ridiculous amount of popularity and modders for Skyrim to this day makes me believe that it won’t be too long before we see a full-fledged SKSE and a bunch of new mods for Skyrim: Special edition.

If you’re still interested, you can check it out on the reddit post that mentions its download link and for downloading SKSE for non-special editions of Skyrim, you can head on to their website here.
